FFANY believes education has the power to strengthen and transform the footwear industry. Toward that end, we announce Den Ly as the winner of the 2017 Joseph C. Moore Scholarship to attend the prestigious ARSUTORIA School in Italy. A graduating student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Den is heading to Milan for 13 weeks where he will learn shoe pattern making and prototyping – an award valued at $17,500!
Congratulations also to 2nd place winner Rebecca Drobinski of Parsons The New School of Design and 3rd place winner Jenevieve Woon of the Rhode Island School of Design. They both won a 5-day ARSUTORIA “Art of Shoemaking” course in NYC and E-learning training, valued at $3,100.
